After our first look, we headed to Central Park for some photos. I’m really glad we took a few hours to take pictures with our bridal party, many of who had traveled across the country and globe to be here with us. With the park right outside our venue, how could we pass up such an opportunity?

Don’t we look all calm, cool, and collected? Well, let me you in on a little secret. 90-degree weather and a duchess satin gown do not mix well. While you can’t tell in the above photos, “backstage” we were sweating bullets. Good thing Mom Hamster picked up some fans from the $1 Store:

And MIL Hamster had picked up an umbrella from the front desk:

Before we knew it, it was time to head back to the hotel for our ceremony - any later and we might encounter our guests arriving! So we skedaddled.
