Hiya hive! I’d both anticipated and dreaded the day I opened my email to find a response to my Weddingbee application. It is such a privilege to be welcomed into the hive of so many creative, enthusiastic and supportive bees! As Mr. Husky said to his dad earlier this afternoon, I am just *buzzing* with excitement! While I know I’m not the first bee to use that phrase, I probably come from the one of the only families that regularly uses it.

A bit about us:
I met the mister shortly after moving to Oregon. He was so impressed with my pool-shark prowess that he couldn’t help but ask for my number. But I was distracted when he called, and it ended up taking about a month for me to call him back. Good thing some other pup hadn’t snatched him up in the meantime! We are always trying new things together - he taught me how to snowboard, and I persuaded him to train for a marathon with me. Our summers are filled with camping, cycling and parties in the park, but winter isn’t wasted in hibernation: just like our Husky moniker, we love to get outside and play in the snow!

We’re planning a family-filled, self-catered wedding on the cheap with lots of personal and budget-savvy details. I can’t wait to share the rest of our journey with all of you!
