Yippee!
THE dress has arrived and we will be reunited soon enough. But like many reunions, I should come bearing gifts… and by gifts I mean accessories. To get the best idea of how my wedding day look will come together, I want to bring as many of my day of beauties I can. To get inspired, I looked at Style Me Pretty’s accessory photo gallery:

Since my dress is relatively simple (fitted ivory satin w/ruching/pleats), I thought I’d compensate by decorating myself in Swarovski crystals and cubic zirconia. Teehee.
I found most everything online and am learning how to use Etsy. One thing I realized while shopping online - pay attention to dimensions and think about how that will look with your proportions. I saw some hair combs that looked beautiful but would overwhelm my head.
How did you decide on your wedding day look? Did you buy all your accessories in preparation for your first dress fitting?
Now I have that song stuck in my head- the karaoke version from my “singing machine” from childhood =) Aaanyway, I brought one accessory (hairband from anthro) to my dress reunion but it competed too much with my gown. Bummer- I returned it. But now I know what to look for. I love your haircomb, and great idea to try 2 different earrings!

gorgeous selection! i also learnt not to be TOO conservative with proportions. I regret that my wedding hair flower looked like a small white puff on my head. I guess I should’ve been bold and go with a HUGE one ala Mrs Perfume!
