Hive Hostess Bellenga is here with a rundown on the Atlanta bee meet up!

On Saturday, June 26, our lovely Atlanta bees had a blast enjoying iced coffees, dessert and appetizers at Cafe Intermezzo and the first of many meet ups began.

For the Atlanta Weddingbee members who had never met before, everybody had a great time and the online friends quickly became offline friends. In attendance were Weddingbee members: Ktisthatbees, Whiteorchid, _miss_qween_bee, jls3824, Laylabelle, and Ggsb.

We sat outside under ceiling fans, facing both gardens and a lovely fountain, and talked weddings and spent time learning about each other. One fun aspect of the afternoon was the exchange of great advice given to the engaged and waiting Atlanta bees from the already married and very wedding-wise Atlanta bees. One member, who is now also a wedding planner, graciously showed us her amazing album of photos! The cover to her album was bee-autiful!

Another bee graciously brought her parents to meet us too and they were so wonderful to meet. By the end of the afternoon, the decision was made that this had to happen again! We all got along so well and had so much fun, we decided regular meet ups have to happen!

On Thursday, July 1st, some of the Atlanta bees had a second meet up at the Avenue at Forsyth and had fun shopping at Charming Charlies and sampling the icy goodness of Dreamy Gelato! Unfortunately I was under the weather and couldn’t attend, but we certainly will do this again!

I wish to thank all the bees who attended and especially Weddingbee member, ggsb, for her wonderful photography of the days’ events. Bee expecting to hear more from us in Hotlanta! And yes, it lives up to its name as it was probably close to 100 degrees that day!
