I don’t think we’ll flip flop on our backyard wedding, so it is time to get some concrete ideas going. WE, yes WE, have been discussing colors, feel, and components. Of course, I’d be nothing without the lovely ladies who have come before me in the blogosphere of backyard weddings.

The ever admirable Young House Love, who gave me my very first OMGILOOOOOOOOVE it moment. It was my very first bookmark in my “Wedding Stuff” folder. They’re always an inspiration and proof that a backyard wedding can be fun, classy, and beautiful. And for a total of $3,995? Get it girl!

And of course, A Backyard Wedding. They are so much fun! They had a super rockin’ dance floor and DJ, which we won’t have because my friends are a bit shy, but I think what made this wedding charming for me was the little details like mismatched cups and plates, the sweet flowers in mason jars all around, and the homemade signage.
Wedding blogs of beautiful and DIY savvy backyard brides give me inspiration, so to them I say a big DOMO ARIGATOU! Mr. G and I have a couple things worked out in our heads for the big day. Hey, my mom is a florist, I’m a foodie, and Mr. G is crafty and creative. We’ll make it work!
