Is the air as thick with suspense and anticipation as I thought it would be??
Good.
It’s time for me to reveal our invitation suite. They aren’t quite ready to be sent out yet, so I’m sure a post on how I’m packaging them up will be coming. You don’t have to tell me how excited you are for that… I already know.
Okay, without further ado (click if you need it enlarged)…
The above is the invitation. It will be folded into thirds in order to fit into our envelopes.
This is our RSVP… and on the back will be:
Hopefully our guests will fill out our questionnaire before they mail the RSVPs back!
Where our guests will stay.
And info for our welcoming dinner!
Yayyy!! I’m very happy with them, even though the design is nothing complicated or over the top… I really wanted to let the words and the story shine more than anything. As you can see from our Welcoming Dinner piece, we have family scattered throughout the country, and many don’t know us well as a couple. I feel like this will give everyone a little insight into who we are and hopefully will make them that much more excited to join us for our wedding.
I used Little Lord Fontleroy from www.dafont.com for the titles and Garamond for the rest of the text!
Did you create your own highly-personal invitations? Would you want your extended family to know the details of your story?
