Need I say more?

Previously on the Lobsters Get Married, I asked you for advice on how to take pictures in the heat. We were lucky and it was *only* 85F and partly cloudy that day in our neighborhood of TriBeCa, New York which alleviated some of the stress.

It was the first time we met our photogs Jason and Chung and our videographer Matthew. In tow were Buddy and our gracious friend M who was Buddy’s handler for the shoot. I’m happy we she was there to watch Buddy as Mr. L and I made kissy faces at each other without worrying about dog pee.

I enjoyed taking pictures in our neighborhood. Not only was the pedestrian traffic light (and thus fewer onlookers), but it was special for us since this is where we’ve started to build our life together in the past couple years. Having this photo shoot a few weeks from our wedding was a nice opportunity to be affectionate and silly with each other amidst the planning craziness!

Also, it was great to meet our photographers and videographer now to get to know them as well as learn how to take direction without looking at the photog or videog (guess what, it is not a good take when I turn to the video guy and say “what?”). They made us feel really comfortable which surprised me as we can sometimes be awkward in photos. I can’t wait to see what they come with on the wedding day!
