Luckily, I'm a pretty persuasive girl because I managed to convince my high school boyfriend (now fiance!), Mr. Cardigan, to ditch his hardcore Longhorn ways and join me up at A&M, where we currently reside with our adorable dogs, Cullen & Ranger. We're currently planning a bright, cheery wedding with a ridiculous amount of DIY projects that I can't wait to tackle! I love crafting in any form, reading, and margaritas (I think I love them the most!). Organization is what keeps me sane and I love helping others, which is probably why I ended up as an education major. It gets a little chaotic sometimes when you're planning a wedding among all of the papers, projects, finals, and certification exams, but we're having the time of our lives and we can't wait to get started on our journey as husband and wife - and we're so excited to share our wedding with the hive!

Cutest Ring Pillow Ever

July 27th, 2010 @ 12:35 pm by Mrs. Cardigan

When it came to tracking down a ring bearer pillow, I knew that it was going to be a struggle. I have similar feelings toward ring bearer pillows as I do to flower girl baskets, so I figured I’d have a hard time finding something.

Plus, I really wanted a super cute ring pillow, since our ring bearer is so freaking adorable.

Mr. Cardigan’s nephew—a kid that cute needs a really adorable pillow to carry!

I hadn’t put too much effort into finding a pillow because I didn’t really think I’d be able to find anything I really loved. But then, I found this post from Mrs. Buttons about her absolutely fabulous ring bearer pillow…and I was sold! I absolutely loved it and had to have one for myself.

So, I contacted Etsy seller BusyButtons, and a couple weeks later, I got this adorable little thing in the mail:

I love it! It’s much smaller than I expected (I didn’t check the dimensions before ordering it—oops!), but I think it’s so incredibly adorable. It’s one of those details that I’m sure none of our guests will even notice, but I’ll know it’s there, and that makes me happy!

Do you have any tiny, not-noticeable details that you get way too excited about?

That’s a perfect ring bearer pillow, small enough for his teeny hands. Very good find!

What a sweet little ring bearer! And the pillow rocks. I have a soft spot for felt. And the little yellow ribbon is a nice touch

my tiny detail was my “ring pillow” to. I went the route of a ceramic similar to Mrs. Pencils but I have a ceramic of a Winnie the Pooh hold a plaque and the plaque reads the famous quote “If you live to be 100 I want to live to be 100 minus 1 day so I never have to live without you.” My mom painted it for us. It’s not perfect, pooh looks like he has a SERIOUS tan (he’s basically brown instead of orange) but it’s adorable and will make for adorable pictures. We’re going to hand the rings around pooh’s neck. And our ring bearer is 8 1.2 years old so I trust him. And then we can hang it in our home for the rest of our lives. She even painted our wedding date on the back of it! :)

Love love love (but ok I know I’m biased)! I thought it was so tiny when I first received it, but then when you think about it, the ringbearer is pretty small himself! Ours was 6 years old, and it was seriously the perfect size for him!

That is cute and definitely goes with your theme. And Mrs. Buttons has a point…the kids are smaller so it does make sense that the pillow would be pretty small. I never really thought about it but I’m sure it’ll be perfect. And Mr. Cardy’s nephew is adorable. Reminds me of my kiddo. :)
