At last… I can finally begin my long-awaited recap of my Vegas Bachelorette Party Weekend.
Day One:
We (sister Locket and BM Catie) left Newark at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 7 and landed in Las Vegas by 2:30 p.m. (that’s 7.5 hours of air travel, since it was 5:30 p.m. East Coast time). We arrived with hungry tummies, eager eyes, to slot machines and a “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign in the airport!

After a brief wait for our shuttle we were on our way to Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino where we met the rest of the group (MOH Amy, Mama Locket, Amy’s Mom and friend Jackie). Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm welcomes from the rest of our crew and were told to get to our rooms so we could get ourselves ready for some poolside relaxation and food.
Our rooms looked like this (only they were a little better, YAY upgrades!)
And a few minutes later we were down by the pool sipping on $20 drinks and soaking up the sun:

After some time by the pool we went inside to check out the casino where I gambled for about 1 minute before I lost $20 at the roulette table (I should have stuck to the slots).

Up next it was time to get ready for our night out of dinner, drinks and a scavenger hunt on the strip. MOH Amy was awesome and had put together a great bridal get-up for me and cute pink bachelorette shirts for the crew. Did I tell you how awesome she is? She really is the best and will forever be my bestest!! I mean come on…she even spent over an hour putting makeup on all of us girls and I must say that girl has got talent.
Look at how pretty my Mom looks (would you believe she just hit 59?):

And a picture of most of the crew (can you guess who the bride is?):

Let me tell you something…nothing grabs attention like a group of ladies with bachelorette gear on (if you want attention or free drinks throw on some bridal gear and pretend you’re getting married). Photo ops were abundant and both men and women would either congratulate me, try to talk me out of getting married, or simply tell me to run for the hills.
First thing out the door of our hotel we ran into a Man Whore 4 Tips, my friends wanted me to take a photo with him so I obliged:

But before I knew it, I was posing for a photo (and was completely embarrassed and violated):

On our continued walk down to dinner at Margaritaville, we took some more group pictures:

Catie, Me, Sister, and Mom

And then we became part of another group’s scavenger hunt who needed to find a bachelorette group (not sure who those randos are in the background):

We finally made it to dinner, but of course there was a wait.

What better thing to do while we waited than take a group shot of tequila (compliments of a guy by the bar, thank you for the $70 round of shots):

Finally seated and ready to eat! (what a pretty group of ladies):

After gorging on tons of food, we headed back up the strip to the hotel where we made a few stops and met a few interesting people along the way.
I was pretend arrested by a cute officer (because I have pushy friends who begged for this):

And then a random groom popped out of nowhere for a photo with me (because us affianced folk like to stick together or because he was a creepy guy):

And, we even made our way into the Paris casino for a cute photo-op:

We finally made it back to our hotel room around 11 with full intention of going back out, but everyone was pooped and ready for bed.

A few of us did venture down to the casino for a bit, but tired eyes got the best of us and we were in bed by midnight. Day 1 in Vegas came to an end and I happily crawled into bed and was out like a light in minutes.
Day 2: Saturday
Saturday morning was quite lax, we grabbed a quick breakfast and spent some time walking the Miracle Mile to sneak in some quick shopping before our day of relaxation at the spa.

Post breakfast and shopping it was time to head to Mandara, our hotel’s spa. I was super excited about this because my wonderful MOH was spoiling me with a full body massage, body polish, and a hand and foot ritual.
We walked in and of course I had to snap some pictures because the place was awesome!
A shot of the entryway:

Mom getting checked in and patiently waiting her turn:

And, lastly me in my spa robe (see how excited I was!):

After a few hours I emerged out of the spa feeling like a mildly drunken limp noodle. All I wanted to do was relax and chill out in the room, but because spa day took longer than expected it was time to get dolled up and purty for our night out.
Sister Locket helping me get my hair did:

Once we were all ready (which was quite a while later) we walked through our hotel to eat a yummy (oh sooo tiny and ridiculously expensive) meal at Koi.

Post dinner we took more photos while we waited for our limo:

And then we were in our limo on our way to see the Men of Olympus:

The moms:

Unfortunately picture-taking was not allowed at Men of Olympus, but that didn’t stop me from taking a few secret shots (I mean come on…the girls in another group were doing it).
Group Shot: I love how my sis has all eyes on stage!

and this one of Amy getting a show:

And, if you’ve ever wondered what happens in a male strip club I have an answer for you…
You are surrounded by men doing their best to coerce you into buying a lap dance for yourself, for your friends, and even for your mom! It is actually quite comical (well, at least for me)! I really don’t get the whole idea of how it’s supposed to be sexy or arousing because for me it was pretty much hysterical and all I could do was laugh and look away (my cheeks actually were in pain from it). Oh don’t worry, I paid my friends back by purchasing them their very own lap dances and had a good laugh when I saw that someone had purchased one for my mom (Dad, don’t worry she didn’t enjoy this!). And, after we finished our 2 drink minimum and all the ladies had enough of men in tiny undies we were back in the limo and on our way to Pure nightclub at Caesar’s.
And because there are just way too many pictures of the night here is another collage (though I would much rather prefer a montage):

To be honest the night gets a bit blurry after we arrived at Pure. We had our very own VIP section equipped with bottle service (which may have been my downfall) and had the cutest pink couch thingy to sit on (when we weren’t tearing up the dance floor)

To be brief, there was dancing (lots of dancing), meeting new people (whom I don’t remember meeting), and mixing drinks (probably one too many). I know it sounds like I must have done myself in, right?
Well not so much, even though I was quite far gone I was pretty darn good compared to my lil’ sis! The best way to describe her by the end of the night was a bobble-head rag doll. Relieved that I wasn’t the hot mess of the night I heroically walked her to the limo and back to our room (which I had to do barefoot because assisting a drunky in heels is tough).
My feet were nasty and here’s the proof:

The rest of the girls worked together and found their ways back to the hotel eventually, by then we were dead to the world and sleeping off the night. But before that I would like to think that I looked pretty cute and that I played the role of bachelorette bride pretty well.
I mean, come on—check out that head tilt:

So there you have it Day 2 of my Vegas Bachelorette weekend in a nutshell.
Day 3: Sunday
Saturday evening’s festivities left our group feeling pretty lazy and hung over on Sunday morning. We did our best to sleep in, but couldn’t sleep past nine so we grabbed a good breakfast and recovered for a bit by the pool. And, after a group consensus we decided that we would split up a bit during the day…some of us went shopping, some of us went back to sleep and others went to gamble. We also decided to meet up for dinner at the Bellagio because we were pretty much starved every other day and couldn’t wait to stuff our faces.
With happy full tummies we walked back to the hotel where we met up for our evening entertainment, PH’s Peep Show.

The show was fun and entertaining, but we probably would have been better off doubling our expenses and gone to see Crique du Soleil as we initially had planned. And, so concludes my Vegas Bachelorette Party Weekend! It was a blast and I really wish I could just go back and do it all over again!
Did you end up having a crazy night with your girls? Do you find male strippers as funny as I do? Did you end up taking care of any of your friends the night of your bach?
