Our invites went out! Can you tell Mr. Starfish is excited? This means it’s really real! Pretty soon our guests will be responding, and before we know it, the wedding will be here! After two years of planning, I’m beyond excited for the wedding day to finally arrive and become Mrs. Starfish!
We spent the other night dropping our invites off in a drive by mail box. I’d never seen this before, but it was pretty convenient. Then we went out for dinner to celebrate having some free time. After addressing more than half of our invites, it’s nice to have a little downtime, but I know it won’t last.
Now we have the next two months to gather responses and come up with seating assignments, write out escort cards, and multiple other DIY projects… too bad we can’t hit fast-forward to the wedding date.
Were you super excited to get your invitations in the mail?
Heck yeah! It does feel like a huge weight off your chest when those babies go out. We sent them out the second to last week of July because I WAS EXCITED!
We sent out invitations at the begining of the week!!! And i kept saying the same thing… “OMG this is REAL!!!”…. I am now waiting patiently by the mail box for out replies

YES!!! We got our invitations in the mail Wednesday night…. and as we were walking out of the post office I could feel my heart palpitating! THIS IS REAL!!!!
I was so excited to put mine in the mail after the hugest struggle ever to get them from the person who made them. Then only half of the people we invited felt it necessary to put their RSVP in the mail. It was really fun calling 30+ invitees to find out whether or not they were coming….not.
This? (points to look on my face) This is PURE envy. I’m so anti-invites right now.
Super excited for sure! We got ours in on Sat and are already getting RSVPs back!

Congrats!!! you think that was nice, wait till you start getting your RSVP’s back I bet you’ll be SO excited!!
I was so nervous to drop ours off, I was petrified that they’d get lost or would be returned and all my hard work would be for nothing. But guess what? No problems! They’re all out and it’s so exciting to go to the mailbox and see RSVPs!
I wish our invites were in the mail. I think it will be another week before we get them in there.
I’ll be stuffing mine this weekend to send out next weekend. I’ll be so glad to check that part off of my list and move on. Although I have to say I love looking at them, they are so elegant
YES!! I just put mine in the mail on Tuesday and I got the first responses back already! It’s SOOOOO exciting!!
