Yeah, we’re two months out from the wedding and still haven’t had our e-pics taken… procrastinate much?

I finally decided that we should do this thing or we’d miss out on our engagement photos completely! I contacted our photographer, Georgi Anastasov and set up our shoot for next Friday!

Oh, I haven’t told you about Georgi, have I? Well…pictures speak louder than words in my opinion!

Some of the things I love most about his work is his ability to capture moments and emotions.

Another thing I love about Georgi is his incredible use of natural light. Since our engagement shoot is going to be around sunset, we hope to have a few pictures like this:

And I can’t even be worried about overcast skies when Georgi takes pictures like this:

Needless to say, we are super excited to work with Georgi. Mr. Socks and I only met with one photographer, and that was Georgi! He was exactly what we were looking for! I’m also super excited for our picnic-themed engagement shoot! More on that later!

Wow, the fill flashes your photographer uses on the sunset pictures is great. See how the light is behind the couples, but they are also lit up from the front? Beautiful!

I had e-pic lust and so we got ours taken this past July. Our wedding? Not until May 2011. I apparently am the flip side of you!

We had our E-pics taken last week, about a year before our wedding. I wanted to be able to use the photos on our web site etc so I was eager to get them done. Our photog is supposed to post the pics tomorrow and I cannot wait to see how they turned out!

We have a 25 month engagement, so we did them a little over a year in. I loved them and am using them where ever I can (website, save the dates, etc).

These are incredible. I’m wondering how much to spend on a photographer. These are amazing so I’d imagine they would be incredibly expensive. What’s the rule on how much the photographer should take out of the wedding budget? Is is a percentage?

Ooh your photog takes great pics! We waited (not on purpose) until a month before and it actually turned out to be nice b/c we were able to relax and take in the “moment” realizing we were only a few weeks away from the big one. And LOVE sunset / twilight pics, can’t wait to see them!

Practically jumped right on it considering we’re having a two year engagement. We got them down 3 1/2 months after getting engaged when I saw a friend who was also getting married got theirs done so we went with the same photographer & had a good experience even though we’re not using the same person for our wedding.
