… and we’ll be on our honeymoon in Bora Bora!
But where is this mysterious island of paradise? Oh, just hang left for about 8 hours when you hit Los Angeles.
In truth, Mr. Lobster and I have had this planned for a few months now but I haven’t had a chance to post about it. Now that we are almost days away from the wedding and the honeymoon, the craziness is pushing me over the edge and I. Need. This. Vacation.
What do you think of these jams? 10 nights in beach bungalows in Moorea and Bora Bora (Tahiti). All I plan on doing is:

We are doing the same exact honeymoon!!!! 10 nights in Moorea and Bora Bora! I’m so excited. Yay honeymoon twins!!
Wow… beautiful pictures! We went to Curacao, and we definitely opted for the lazy itinerary… plenty of reading on the beach and by the pool, and lots of Amstel Light. (They bottle it on the island, so it’s very popular there!)

i am so jealous! we haven’t planned ours officially yet but we don’t think we’ll be able to do bora bora since we’re paying for our wedding! i cannot wait to live vicariously through your pictures! (:

not to be nosy, with any of the multiple people who are honeymooning here.. but i was wondering the price range this honeymoon is in? if you do not wish to share thats okay too.
That should be so much fun! Our HM itinerary is a mix of active for the first half, lazy beach-bum for the second half.
Oh, I’ve been dreaming about a honeymoon in French Polynesia since I was quite young. Doesn’t look like it’s in our budget… plus the long flight, oy. What are you doing to keep occupied on those flights??
Yay for all the French Polynesia honeymooners! We just got back from three nights in Tahiti and seven nights at the Hilton Moorea Resort and Spa. Absolutely unbelievable, is all I can say. We got upgraded to a king panoramic overwater bungalow, which is the swankest “room” in the resort, which was really a dream come true. To everyone going there, I highly recommend doing the excursion where you snorkel with the rays and sharks while they feed them, followed by the BBQ buffet lunch on the Motu island. Also, eat the raw tuna in coconut milk and lime juice at absolutely every chance you get. Just wow.
@slmaynard: hi there. thanks for asking. the honeymoon was out of our initial estimate since it is quite far (from NYC) and we were looking at “honeymoon worthy” resorts. Any travel website will give you an accurate estimate to what a travel agent will. We ended up booking it through Costco and tried to take advantage of any “1 free night with 4 night stay” offers.
@LittlestBirds: thanks for the tips!! We have no idea what these islands have to offer and plan on finding out by reading up on our flight. I’ll definitely have to check out the snorkel/bbq adventure!

OMG I loved these islands! Moorea was my favorite, but Bora Bora is beautiful too! Don’t forget to stop at the beachy restaurant where all the celebs go. It was under construction when I was there but it looked like so much fun!
@Miss Lobster: thanks for the tip! I went to Costco’s website and it’s more affordable than I had guessed. We may get our dream honeymoon after all
