About Mrs. Locket

Miss Macy is back from her dye job, and David’s Bridal you did good! Mr. L, the lovey of my life, was so kind to pick them up for me just the other day, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to finally have them in my possession and in their pretty plum-purple glory.

When I left my newly purchased shoes (a steal at $19.99), they looked like this and didn’t have much pizazz to them:

On Monday night when I tore open the box, they looked like this and were pretty much the perfect purple shade:

And because she begged, I let Macy (yes, I just personified my shoes) get her shot in the limelight and pose for a couple photos. (Yes, that’s an unchanged frame in the background; I bought it for our e-pics and never printed them):

So here I am twp months out and with a purple shoe I like. No, I am not quite head over heels for them, but they are pretty rocking and will look pretty in the pictures; the best part is that they fit! I am contemplating sprucing them up with a fancier shoe clip but haven’t decided if less is more in this case. What do you think? Are they rocking as is? Or could they use some sprucing up?

Those are pretty and I think a fancy shoe clip could add something, give it a shot!

I wore/dyed those navy for a wedding when I was a bridesmaid. They were fabulous! No need to spruce!

I *heart* them as is. I mean, it’s hard to top a purple shoe! Plus, it already has a pretty sweet little bling droplet.

They look great! They will be gorgeous in pics and the shoe clip is perfect the way it is! Just remember to avoid any possibly damp grass in dyed shoes!

They are rocking the way they are & you don’t want to add anything that might make them uncomfortable!

Um, they’re wedding shoes, you can have them be as fun as you want them to be. Have you seen Mrs. Cola’s (I think they were hers)? They were over the top and awesome!

Leave them bee! They are great just as they are and spending any more money or effort on your shoes is just not necessary. Put it elsewhere on something more important, that your guests will really notice!

Love the shade of purple they turned out! And personally, I would add a bigger shoe clip (maybe something that goes with your jewelry?) but that’s just me, because I’m crazy about over-the-top shoes!

I say make a mini version of one of your fabric flowers and put that on the shoe. It would be beautiful!
