In conjunction with Indecisive Hair Inspiration, I bring you some Indecisive Makeup Inspiration.
I have very fair skin. In fact, when I was ten I was mistaken for a ghost one night on a school camp. The girl went into hysterics. I used to absolutely HATE my paleness. Unfortunately for me I can’t do anything about it because it seems impossible for me to get any sort of a tan (except on the tops of my feet. Go figure). So the only alternative over the years has been to slowly start “loving the skin I’m in” and get over it.
Because pale can be beautiful too (well Mr E tells me so, and I like to try to believe him
). Multiple people have asked if I’m going to get a spray tan for the wedding and the answer is, no. Mr E loves me, pale skin and all, so I don’t see why I should try to change that aspect of me just for our wedding.
I want a natural and “fresh” look on our wedding day.
Something soft and delicate that brings out the little colour I have and makes me feel good about my skin. Have I also mentioned I almost never wear any makeup? So, I don’t want to feel caked in it either.
The following pics are the kind of thing I’m going for. I think. Well they are a starting point anyway. We’ll leave it up to the makeup person to help me out with actual workable ideas when I have my trial.

The gorgeous Mrs Cowboy Boot’s look gave me some inspiration too:

Other very pale/fair brides, what makeup looks have you been inspired by?
