Bouquets, Revisited

August 16th, 2010 @ 8:46 am by Mrs. Glasses

As I’ve mentioned in the past, our wedding is virtually flowerless, but my mom is a florist and her feelings would be hurt if she wasn’t able to scrounge up a couple of arrangements for us.

I’ve always liked this pink and peach bouquet from Martha Stewart Weddings that has been floating around the Internet. It spawned a quiet obsession with cabbage roses. But let me remind you of our wedding colors.

Bouquets, Revisited : wedding color scheme flowers tokyo Picture028 I’ve been doing my best to not include too much pink in our wedding. After all, this is Mr. Glasses’s wedding too. But I do so love pink! And when it comes to my bouquet, why can’t I have something very, very pink? Not just any pink: a light breezy, easy pink bouquet.

Hmmmm, not quite pink enough…

Gorgeous! But can we lighten it up juuuuuust a touch?

Looks great, but let’s get rid of the green. We are talking pink here.

Stop! There! Perfect!

Tell me about your bouquet! What are you looking for?

Oooh lovely! I’m also running away with pink- I allowed myself to sneak it into the palette as an “accent color” to girly up the day a bit but I just keep using more pink!.
Glad you’re having a bouquet- there’s something so bridal about the bouquet. I’m not sure why we have them… but you know. It’s a final touch!

Love pink! I too thought I should try to stay away for my Fiance’s sake but it does keep sneaking into some ideas :)

I love those bouquets! So soft, fluffy and romantic! If I were doing a real floral bouquet I would totally want one like that!

I want a big, fluffy beautiful creation! I’m just hoping my budget will allow for it when I seek out what to do. Some of your pictures have also inspired me too. Thanks!
