An Awesome Project!

August 18th, 2010 @ 4:00 pm by Mrs. Plaid

Are you having a library-themed wedding? Maybe you’re just incorporating books into your decor. I was reading through one of my favorite blogs today, lillyella, and found this awesome project!

An Awesome Project! : wedding austin decor diy Bookva Source

How cool is that? Follow this for the tutorial. How awesome would it be to use these for centerpieces as vases? If it fit with my decor, I would totally do it. So because I can’t, you should!

Have you found any awesome projects you’re just dying to do, if only they fit in with your theme or decor?

My grandma makes angels out of old hymnals, just like this. They are really cool. They are a big hit every year at the church Christmas craft sale.

As a matter of fact we are having a “literature” themed wedding! FI and I were both English majors.

I’ve found TONS of great ideas I would love but then again.. won’t fit in with something else or they just are too hard for a amateur DIY’er like me :-P

I want a barn wedding. I want rustic chic. I am totally not that type of girl though!

To go along with your book theme I found a DIY roses out of french novels on OBB. I think I’m going to do it with Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings books since I’m a geek. :-)

Here’s the link.
