I Love Lamp

August 18th, 2010 @ 2:19 pm by Mrs. Glasses

“Do you really love the lamp, or are you just saying it because you saw it?”

I’ve been falling in love with everything lately. And every once and a while, I like to do a wedding-porn dump on you, hive. Here is what’s been lurking in my inspiration folder. (Oh come on, you keep one too, don’t you?)

I Love Lamp : wedding decor flowers tokyo Backyar

I Love Lamp : wedding decor flowers tokyo Backyar01
I Love Lamp : wedding decor flowers tokyo Backyar02 Ruffled posted a beautiful backyard wedding. I only hope ours turns out just as classy and stylish! What an easy idea for an “altar” too!

Yet another backyard wedding of glory. I love the lighting scheme in this and hope to achieve something similar!

Wouldn’t it be easy to spray paint a vase black and fill it with beautiful roses and carnations (which are available no matter what season) and pearl draping? Love this! We don’t have enough white going on either.

I Love Lamp : wedding decor flowers tokyo Redflo
I Love Lamp : wedding decor flowers tokyo Redflo We are looking for ways to add more red into our table decor. These cute, small centerpieces would do it! This is an adorable DIY wedding found on Style Me Pretty.

I Love Lamp : wedding decor flowers tokyo Dessert (source)

Dessert buffet. ’Nuff said.

I Love Lamp : wedding decor flowers tokyo Whiteb I love, love, love this balloon aisle. How easy to recreate, fun and eye-catching! Love and Lavender is always great for inspiration.

I Love Lamp : wedding decor flowers tokyo Openai Lastly, if we NEED a tent, I’d like something open air like this. I will only order a tent in an emergency situation, although my mom thinks we should tent this shindig right off the bat. Blech.

I love my Google Reader. What are you inspired by?

you should see my bookmarks on my work computer. i have a ‘wedding’ folder and i probably have links saved for over 200 photos.

also, when i got engaged, i didn’t exactly “name” the links correctly, so i have no idea what im clicking on most of the time. oops?

I’m totally guilty of maintaining a “wedding porn” folder. It’s been around since I was 16 and has been immensely helpful in planning. Photos are often the best way to show vendors what you want!

I love everything lately too! We dont have a ton of time left before the wedding, but I’[m still adding to my inspiration folder. These ideas are so fun, I love the balloon aisle, I’ve never seen anything like it!

I love the heart on the cake in the 8th pic. Not that that will surprise anyone. I’m having a “have to have!!” moment over it.

Put the tent on rain reserve. The last thing you need is to be calling rental companies two days before the wedding only to find out that theirs are already rented.
