Hive, the day has come. The day that we have been planning and thinking about for our 22 month engagement. I cannot tell you how quickly it came. It’s almost unbelievable that the days is here.

We have had an unbelievable 2 days of wedding festivities building up to this big event. I can’t wait to share it with you.

To all of you, thank you! Thank you for your support, advice, and honesty. It has been an honor to share our wedding thus far. I can’t wait to come back to the hive as a Mrs. You have allowed me to be myself, to express my inner thoughts about all things wedding related and even some things that have been tangentially related. You have enhanced my engagement in ways that are difficult to express. For all these reasons and more, I thank you for allowing me to write for you.

To my family and friends, your love and support makes me whole! You make my soul sing. Your presence this weekend is the greatest present. I could not and would not dare to start this next chapter of my life without you. I am me because of you.

To my beloved Mr. Hot Wings. It has been a hectic process. This has been a year of growth and changes like no other and we jumped every hurdle together. We finished grad school, moved to a new city, started new jobs, and planned a wedding. There is not a doubt in my soul about marrying you. You are my friend and companion. I choose you. I choose you. A million times over, I choose you! If I believed in soul mates, I am confident you would be mine. I could not have dreamed of you. You are far more real and good to me than I dared to believe I deserved. I am truly honored you have chosen me and that we will walk through life together from here on out. See you soon sweetheart.

And so, I am now officially signing off as Miss Hot Wings. I will return to you the same, yet different woman. Hugs and kisses y’all!
