Mrs. Plaid's Picture
Mrs. Plaid, Austin Age and Occupation: 26, Pastry Chef Fiance's Age and Occupation: 34, Cabinetry Carpenter Engagement Date: August 8, 2009 Wedding Date: October 2010 Venue: Kindred Oaks, Georgetown About Me: I am a Jersey girl born and raised but have since migrated to Texas and embraced its twang and Tex-Mex. I could probably eat chips and queso every day but instead I eat popcorn. I use the word “awesome” way too much but I just can’t seem to stop myself. I am addicted to all things DIY and am planning what I call a Texas-Chic wedding. I love snuggling with my two adorable dogs and of course, my adorable fiance. I can’t wait 'til I can call him my husband some day! October 2010, here we come!
About Mrs. Plaid

That’s right, ladies (and gents). The Plaids’ engagement pictures are finally in! And let me just tell you, we worked it. There was modeling head to toe, smizing (I hate that term), neck extensions, etc. Check ’em out!

Check out the mister’s attitude in this pic! Hand on hip, hip sticking out; they definitely need a male ANTM!

Love this pic! I felt like a three-year-old running through the wildflowers!

My absolute favorite picture. I know our faces aren’t in it but it just seems so carefree. I want to blow this picture up and print it on canvas to hang on our wall!

*** All photos were taken by the fabulous Nathan Russell.

I love that we got to take some pictures in the city and also in the field of wildflowers, showing both sides of Austin. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with these pictures yet, but you’ll see them again, I promise!

Did you have as much fun with your engagement shoot as we did?

Love these!!!! ADORABLE! The running through the field ones remind me of the opening of Little House on the Prairie… I know, you’re too young to remember….

@Miss Hippo: I do know that show. I used to watch it at my Nana’s house all the time when I was little!
