Remember me? The girl who wasn’t sure about having a wedding registry? Color me converted! I am obsessed with this collection from Vera Wang and thought I’d share its simple elegance with you. I added the available items to our Amazon registry, but so many of the pieces are unavailable there. It looks like those gift cards will come in handy!
It all started with this kissing bell.
I was thinking of doing bells as favors, but the price per bell was too steep for 100+ guests. I did find $1-2 bells, but after seeing this one I was design-spoiled and have since move on to other favor ideas.

I was always set on registering, but our Royal Doulton Empress pattern china flung me from “reasonably pro-china” to “batty crazy nutso in love with china.” I’m glad you found something to make your mouse-clicking finger flutter with delight!
Everything Vera touches turns to gold, I swear! I fell in love with Kate Spade dot houseware items. Still, they were a little too pricey for me to register for.
oh, my own china! i am in love with lenox federal platinum and got very excited to register 
that, and the lavendar/violet le creuset set at sur la table *sigh* one of my bridesmaids got married last year and her vera dress had the love knots on the back of it, and we got her the picture frame for her birthday!
ps @ Miss Barrettes - I’ve been to the V Sattui winery and I absolutely ADORED their wine. I’m envious for your guests to get to go to your wedding there, I know they’ll have an amazing time!
I saw china I loved at Neiman Marcus, but it’s soooo expensive.

Need I say more? I love EVERYTHING of the collection. FH’s family would splurge on it but my family would look at me like “wtf?”
I LOVE the “Love Knots” collection! I actually got the vanity boxes and frames for my maids. The boxes are really cute. They were smaller than I thought- 2.5″ tall and it took forever to find them because they are discontinued. I have extras that I’m selling if anyone is interested. I have a few of the boxes and I think 3 or 4 frames. I found the boxes for $35 online and am selling for $25. I also got the cake knife and server for our cake cutting- love them!
My mom got me the cake serving set. Used it at our wedding and for lots of other special cakes. Everytime I use it it evokes special memories and I can’t wait to use it with my future childrens birthday cakes. I remember using my parents set only for birthdays and feeling so special cutting my cake.
I love Vera’s stuff, especially her china. Lovely finds!
Oh, those pieces are fabulous! I hadn’t thought I was interested in china, but there were def a few collections that made me doubt my choice!
does anyone know why the love knot china was discontinued. i am looking to buy this china but i know it is discontinued and i am wondering if there was a reason? anyone who has vera wang china are you happy with it? is it truly dishwasher safe! please help with this decision!
i feel like vera wang makes such beautiful china and housewares but they usually become discontinued.
that is why i don’t understand why a lot of her patterns are discontinued. i feel like all my favorite ones get discontinued so before i register for vera wang china i want to make sure it is good stuff! but… i agree… she is a genius!!!!
Everything is beautiful, but the vase is absolutely gorgeous!! Love it!
I can weigh in on the discontinued status as I used to work in the industry, specifically for fine china. The Vera china is definitely dishwasher safe but what you need to remember is that the patterns with metallic accents (which is the majority) are not microwave safe. Bone china is exceptionally strong. I used to speak at bridal shows and would have a groom in the audience come up and stand on a teacup to show how strong it is. I won’t own anything else and loaded up on the stuff when I worked in the industry (the discount helped!). The patterns that are discontinued are based on demand. The more popular patterns- like Grosgrain and Vera Lace have been around forever and will likely stay around. Vera Wang china is made by Wedgwood and some of their patterns have been around a very long time. One of my favorites that I own was introduced in 1992 and is still in all the stores today. I know alot about Vera Wang, Wedgwood, and Martha Stewart brands specifically as far as specific patterns are concerned.
@grace8367: Thanks for the info! I was so sad when I saw some of the collection was unavailable. I wonder if someone would be willing to part with pieces on ebay….
