If Only…

September 3rd, 2010 @ 11:45 am by Mrs. Starfish

I recently saw these cute little Massachusetts cookies and all I could think of was how adorable they’d look in an out of town bag.

How cute are these cookies from Cookie Creatives? I can picture a little R.I. cookie awaiting our guests. It’s such a fun idea to include these for an out-of-state wedding. If only these were in the budget!

Do you have any “if only” items that you found after it was too late to include it in your wedding?

What a great idea! Too bad she is located out in Western Mass.

I’m not a cookie cutter expert, does anyone know where I can purchase cute cookie cutters? If I can’t find that Mass. state shape, I could probably use a regular cutter and write “welcome to Boston”.

My list of things I wish I’d had is way too large, but no one would’ve noticed them except me in the end. Maybe that’s my “two whole people got bubbles,” voice talking.

There’s a chocolate shop that will write your menu on a ‘chocolate slate’ so you can leave it for your guests to read and then take home. They’re $12 each. Yikes!

I do know that there are cookie cutters, though, for every state.

Since I live in Sacramento, I tend to visit California’s capital often with out of town guests. The gift shop has them here so I’d assume that it might be a good resource in other states as well.

I just bought a CT cookie cutter at Fishs Eddy in NYC. It was only $2. Now I need to figure out a good recipe and how to decorate.

After this post I’ve decided to add these to my OOT bags! :)

Anyone have any thoughts as to what kind of icing/frosting they used?
