Part of our venue package includes the use of a suite for my bridal party to become even hotter, and another room for the guys to get ready in. I got the idea online to make some cute suite signs to hang from our respective rooms on the big day.

This was a very simple and quick DIY project. All it required was:

A couple sheets of scrapbook paper (the same that we are using for all signs at the reception)
Some ribbon (which I had left over from the invite mock-ups and pomanders)
Glue/adhesive
Crystals (which I had left over from decorating our wooden signs)

I love being able to use materials that I already have! I printed out the signs on white card stock (in the font used on our invitations) and then glued them to the green card stock. I glued the ribbon to the blue card stock and then attached the top two layers. I used a little super glue to add the crystals to the sign for a little extra sparkle and voilà! Simple and quick bridal suite signs.

Those look great! Did you have to cut any of the paper at all? What type of glue did you use? I love them!

@mc77: I did cut the paper, and I just eye balled when I cut. I just measured them and they are:
white print - 5.25″ x 7.75″
green - 6″ x 9″
blue - 7″ x 10″

I used Xyron adhesive runners to glue them together. They can be pricey (even with coupons) so I have since moved onto 3M spray adhesive for DIY projects

Your’s turned out great! I was silly and made my signs door knob hangers. Not a good idea to hang the sign on the door knob when people keep opening and closing the door. It got bent up really fast. Great job.

@Miss Boot Camp: LOL, trust me I wouldn’t consider myself a crafter, so I tried to stick to easy projects (or something with great instructions). I may have found the hidden crafter inside, and I’m sure everyone else can too
