Before I launch into this post, I just want to say…HOLY MOLY WE’RE ONE MONTH AWAY TODAY!! ONE MONTH!

Anyway, last night I finally had Mr. Socks try on his whole wedding ensemble!! In case you don’t remember, we put his suit choice to a vote, and the Hugo Boss was the obvious winner, so that’s what we went with!

First up…what Mr. Socks is wearing:

He’s such a vogue poser, right??

A snazzy yellow tie we picked up at Sak’s Off 5th—their outlet store. I love this color with his suit!

A borrowed Seiko watch from Dad Socks and David Donohue cuffs we found at Off 5th as well (how perfect are they with our colors??).

And Mr. Socks also modeled the ties we got for our awesome groomsmen:

Beautiful Brioni ties, also from Off 5th! The only problem with shopping at Off 5th though is that you’re limited to the amount of ties they have in stock since you can’t order this online anymore. I probably would have purchased one of these ties for Mr. Socks if they had a fourth one, but alas, they didn’t. I still loove the yellow, though!

We also got the groomsmen some socks to go with their orange ties:

They’re a bit brighter of an orange, but I think they’re awesome!! I also heart Mr. Socks’ wedding shoes! We ordered some yellow socks for Mr. Socks to match his tie, but they haven’t come in yet.

I forgot to make Mr. Socks put on his boutonniere for those photos though, so I had him model it this morning without the tie:

I haven’t decided if we’ll be doing all orange, all yellow, or if I’ll match the orange with orange and yellow with yellow or do it the opposite! We’ll have to play around with the combos when we have more time.

There’s just one problem with the poofs though:

It looks absolutely ridiculous from the side. I’m still trying to tweak them to make them lay flatter against his chest, but it’s so freakin’ hard!! Plus, I opted to use magnets as “pins” since I didn’t want to put holes in everyone’s clothing and it adds a bit of bulk to the side. I’ll keep playing around with these silly things and hopefully they’ll look better before the big day!

One more thing…you wanna see my absolute fave-fave of all of this??

It’s the socks, of course!!

We ordered all of our socks from HappySocks.com and each pair has “Happy Socks” written on the sole!! AHHH how perfect is that?? Mr. Socks is wearing HAPPY SOCKS!! The yellow pair we ordered for him will also have “Happy Socks” written on the bottom.
