Thankfully, my dad arrived just in time to give me a hug, and walk me down the aisle just a few minutes after our scheduled start time.

@Miss Glasses: The caterer practically forced him to set up the ceremony chairs, so he had to run home, shower, change and get back in a pretty small amount of time. It was bonkers. This post explains a bit more about it. http://www.weddingbee.com/2010/06/28/rainy-wedidng-day/
