A little less than 1 month ago, I decided to try to curb my little shopping addiction.

No buying clothes or shoes for 1 month.

Sounds easy, right?

And yet, I failed. Perhaps it wasn’t so smart to do this before we had our anniversary shoot?

You see, we went shopping to see if we could get an outfit for the Hubs. We just wanted to pick up a few accessories for him to sport, and then there they were…the cutest shoes…

and I cracked.

I bought them and then wore them to our shoot.

I take solace in the fact that I’ve been asked numerous times now where I got these awesome shoes. The answer is: Marshall’s. (Score!)

They are Charles by Charles David Roam 2, and I was only able to find them online at one place (though admittedly I didn’t look all that hard). They are here.

Those shoes are soooo cute!!! I too am trying a “less spending” diet, so far so good but in my head I’m thinking about what money I have saved and what extra large gift I want!!! You just cant win with me

Those are so cute–definitely worth skipping a “shoe diet” for! I’m trying to curb my spending right now too, I just keep reminding myself of all the wedding-related stuff I’m going to want/need. More $ for hair, makeup, and awesome outfits for the honeymoon

Ughhh! I’m currently on my non shopping diet as well…I’m terrible at it, and have barely started. haha But had to cause the fiance put his foot down!

Two months! I lasted two months and then I went on mini-spree. Major sale at a local boutique and I was able to snatch five dresses for $60.00. I’ve worn four of ‘em already and while they are cheapy dresses - it curbed my appetite!

And congrats, these shoes are fab!!

You, miss, are an enabler. That’s what you are.

Lucky for me, those heels are far too high for me to walk in and would make me tower almost five inches over Mr. E) so I am safe from your evil powers! Ha!

These are the cutest! I saw these at Marshall’s too and tried them on…a little TOO high for me, scared I wouldn’t be able to walk in them…but it was HARD to put them back…I was in LOVE.

I’m trying to do no new clothes (unless socks/ underwear become an emergency) for a year.(2/12 months will be complete in 1 week!) But here, you can see that you can wear 6 items of clothing for a month and…. no one notices for the most part!!!

Ohhhh no. The fact that you linked me to those shoes is DANGEROUS! I adore them. And the fact that you got them at Marshalls?!?! That makes them 10 times more awesome! I think the majority of my wardrobe is from TJ Maxx or Marshalls…
