Once we were all finished getting ready, my bridesmaids and I headed off to take some girl photos with our photographer, Chloe. Chloe had done a little scoping out of the area, and found this great little avocado/walnut farm to shoot at. (She got permission from the owners first, of course. They were standing out there waiting for us when we got there, and seemed to totally get a kick out of the whole thing! What? Wedding parties don’t usually come here??) I must admit I was a little skeptical when I first got out of the car and realized I’d be dragging my never-before-worn wedding dress through some serious dirt…but I totally trust Chloe and I totally get the girly girl meets rustic vibe.

Of course we took a ridiculous amount of group photos at the farm, but first, I want to reintroduce you to my bridesmaids, as you’ll be seeing a whole lot of them throughout my recap posts. I took a “joking around” photo with each of my girls, followed by a “normal” one. And as you can see, we definitely took advantage of some of the “props” we found laying around the farm! 
This is me with my MOH, and BFF since junior year of high school, MOH Camo!
Next meet my co-BFF, who I’ve known since elementary school, Bridesmaid J-me!
Next up, my wonderful friend from school and church ever since 7th grade, Bridesmaid Red!
Followed by my close friend and sense of humor twin from high school and beyond, Bridesmaid Julz!
And finally, my adorable Junior Bridesmaid/Mr. Turtle’s cousin, Jr. Bridesmaid K!
I love all of these pictures so much, because each and every one of the people Mr. Turtle and I chose to be in our wedding party is so very special to us!
So if you enjoyed these photos, you will looove our group ones! We had so much fun goofing off with each other and pretending we were supermodels during this whole shoot. (Can you tell?) See a bunch more photos in my next post!

I’m so in love with all of the dresses! Your wedding dress is obviously amazing, but those bridesmaids dresses are gorgeous too! I kind of want one for myself!

@Kelsey: The designer is Watters, and I’m not sure if you can get them except through bridal boutiques! We got ours at Down the Aisle in Arroyo Grande, CA.
