I don’t particularly agree with the idea that because a bride asks someone to be a BM that they must complete all wedding-related tasks at the request of and on the timeline of the bride. Well…those brides can eat their hearts out! This is a quote from the e-mail I just received in regards to our BM dresscapade…
“I tried not to grow much, but maybe I did. IDK”
No, ladies and gentleman, this is not a pregnant BM or one going through a stressful time in her life. This is our 11-year-old junior bridesmaid trying not to grow taller. That’s wedication, folks…
Don’t worry, I reassured her that I did indeed want her to grow, and we would find a fabulous dress regardless.

Having “growing issues” as well. Despite my pleas to get little again, my 6-year-old daughter insists on outgrowing all of her clothes every 3-months. We’re not ordering her dress until the last possible moment!
Requisting that a BM pay for something in a timely fashion/buy a dress by a certian date and requisting that someone stop growing are not really comparable. I would hope that no bride out there would be mad at a Jr. Bridesmaid for GROWING. Or maybe I missed the connection.
PS-I know that a bride wouldn’t really request that a child stop growing. The visual just made me giggle. A lot.
aww she is too cute! I’m hoping to have my sister as MOH, my cousin as a BM, and then two junior BM’s, my beautiful cousins who will at the time be 14 and 12. They are the coolest girls ever and I can’t wait for them to be in my wedding 
I think their little brother may end up as our ring bearer too…
