To catch up on our seashore wedding:
- We lazed about in the Ocean State for a week.
- Anxiety struck at the rehearsal dinner, but I struck it right back!
What I’ll remember from our wedding day morning:
1. Hitting the snooze button and mumbling “five more minutes!!” until Mr. Potato Head got me out of bed. (I’m a solid sleeper.)
2. A solitary and much-needed morning run around the neighborhood
3. Coming back to the beach house to a roomful of eager, early-rising wedding-day faces! Friends could barely contain their excitement!!!

(My photos)
4. My dear friends made a bagel + coffee run. I ate the biggest cinnamon roll you ever did see. It was go time!
The fellas left and the women had the beach house to ourselves. The guys had a busier morning than the ladies, dropping off the alcohol at the reception venue and getting ready at one of the groomsman’s houses.
Very busy.

My beloved hairstylist traveled all the way from Boston with her makeup artist and got to our house at 8 a.m. sharp! They were awesome! It was a low-key morning of reading Us Weeklies, drinking coffee, taking turns getting pampered, and getting pumped to a “Getting Ready Party Mix.”

The guys, in due time, got neat and pretty too. But first, they had T-shirt time.

…And back at the beach house, PChipz really thinks she’s something else!

Me and my beautiful sister:
My parents looked awfully sharp, too!

The morning flew by in a rush of hairspray and sandwiches (our beach house was stocked with leftover rehearsal dinner food and we noshed all morning).
Soon, the flowers and limo arrived and it was time to meet the guys at The Towers for pre-ceremony photos.
And at Groomsman D’s house, the guys hopped in their limo too:

And I was escorted outside, into the ladies’ limo, rain sprinkling, heart pounding.

Holy matrimony! It was time to get married!
