Shoes, OMG shoes!

When in London, one must visit Harrods. It took me three trips to get there, but 2010 was the year of Harrods! (Mrs. Turtle visited Harrods on her honeymoon.) The store occupies an entire city block, and one can easily get lost inside. Harrods is famous for being the store where you can purchase anything (elephants, too!). This day, however, was for one thing: shoes. And FMIL and I had a pretty easy time sniffing out that floor. Yes indeedy-do, an entire city-block floor of shoes. Amazing!

Sup awk because Harrods is full of people just dying to give you a Pretty Woman moment.

I grabbed the heart glasses on Oxford Street for a photography prop because of Mrs. Skiz awesomeness!
If you remember my Matrimonial Manolos, you’ll remember that I was looking for more vivid color in my shoes. Eh, it was just one of those things that changed. Move over Manolo—Kurt has arrived!
I am now on the hunt for a perfect semi-matching pair of ballet flats to wear when my feet get tired of the heels.* I love that the heels aren’t sky high because I don’t want my dress dragging on the floor too much when I change into flats.
*Always have a backup plan for shoes. I worked at a banquet facility during college and saw one too many women cut their feet on the broken glass that is always everywhere.
Tell me about your shoes! Color? No color?
