While our guests were enjoying cocktail hour back at the house, Mr. Turtle, our wedding party, and I joined our photographer, Chloe, for some group portraits. We went just down the road and pulled off at a random little patch of dried grass. I do not even understand how our photographer made it look like such an epic open space. Talk about photography magic!
After taking some pictures by the fence, right off the sidewalk, we decided to venture deeper into the “field,” getting dried grass stuck all over our clothes in the process! Our bridesmaids and groomsmen were total troopers though.
^ This one is my favorite!
Just as we were getting ready to take some “serious” shots, this guy drove up in a truck, and he rolled down his window and was all, “Yeeeeeeeeeah!” in this total creeper voice. We all started busting up laughing. So weird.
Once we got over the weirdness of that moment, we finally got our “serious” shot!
Then, our photographer took some pictures of me with the guys…
And of Mr. Turtle with the girls…
I love how these turned out!
Next, our lovely wedding party headed back to the house, while Chloe took some pictures of just Mr. Turtle and me. But that’s another post!

*Note: To answer your fashion questions, my dress was by Casablanca, the bridesmaids’ dresses were by Watters, and the guys’ suits were from Banana Republic.

Have I told you how much I love your wedding? Everything is sooo beautiful! The bride, the wedding, the photographs.
now that is something i wanted and totally forgot to get: pics of me with all the GM and of my husband with all the BM! boo! those pics are so cute, you guys look like you’re having a great time so happy!

I love your wedding more and more each time I see these recaps - so pretty! I don’t think our WP could possibly do a serious shot…we’re all too goofy and wouldn’t be able to not giggle even for one picture! But I always love them!

I don’t know if you’ve addressed this in prior posts, but where did you get the bridesmaid dresses and the groomsmens suits? The colors match perfectly!

@starsael: The bridesmaid dresses were from Down the Aisle in Arroyo Grande, CA, but they’re sold at any boutique that carries the Watters brand. The groomsmen suits were from the Banana Republic outlet. So they had nothing to do with each other, but were a total lucky match! I was so happy when we found those suits!
