About Mrs. Plaid

Wishin’ and Hopin’

October 1st, 2010 @ 2:34 pm by Mrs. Plaid

Does that song remind anyone else of the opening scene of My Best Friend’s Wedding? No? OK, moving on.

I already showed y’all our guestbook in my last post. However, I also love the idea of collecting well wishes and advice from guests and wise married people.

Since we’ve already got one tree, I didn’t want to add another like these:

As gorgeous as these trees are, they’re just not what I was looking for. So I continued my search and started finding these inspiration photos:

I think my heart literally skipped a beat when I saw the clothesline pictures, immediately followed by a lightbulb moment. I know what our guestbook is going to be like now, THANK YOU!

My best friend and I saw “My Best Friend’s Wedding” in the movie theater when we were 13, and decided which one of us was which girl in this opening scene (she was the blond MOH and I was the goofy caboose girl). PS-She is my MOH and I was hers this last March. So funny how things work out…
