Mrs. Cardigan's Picture
Mrs. Cardigan, Austin Age and Occupation: 21, Student/Soon-to-be Special Education Teacher Fiance's Age and Occupation: 20, Student/Soon-to-be Accounting Systems Analyst Engagement Date: August 16, 2009 Wedding Date: January 2011 Venue: Vintage Villas About Me: I'm a native Austinite who was raised as a die-hard Aggie. Luckily, I'm a pretty persuasive girl because I managed to convince my high school boyfriend (now fiance!), Mr. Cardigan, to ditch his hardcore Longhorn ways and join me up at A&M, where we currently reside with our adorable dogs, Cullen & Ranger. We're currently planning a bright, cheery wedding with a ridiculous amount of DIY projects that I can't wait to tackle! I love crafting in any form, reading, and margaritas (I think I love them the most!). Organization is what keeps me sane and I love helping others, which is probably why I ended up as an education major. It gets a little chaotic sometimes when you're planning a wedding among all of the papers, projects, finals, and certification exams, but we're having the time of our lives and we can't wait to get started on our journey as husband and wife - and we're so excited to share our wedding with the hive!

Our Wedding Word Cloud

October 1st, 2010 @ 6:44 pm by Mrs. Cardigan

Okay, so this is random and kind of pointless, but I’m in love. My friend Layla recently posted about this awesome website that takes the most frequently used words on your blog or website and turns them into a little collage.

Naturally, I was intrigued and decided to try it out with my blog. What I got is pretty effing awesome. I feel like it takes all of the “buzzwords” about our wedding and puts them into this cute little visual.

Look how adorable:

It’s kind of hard to see, but the words include “Cardigan” (duh!), “personal,” “love,” “happy,” and “make.” It’s really interesting to see the topics I tend to talk the most about, and I love the way it turned out!

I’m thinking about printing this cute little guy out and putting him on the refrigerator so Mr. Cardy and I are constantly reminded of the things that are important to us in this whole wedding planning process!

If you had to pick a few “buzzwords” from your wedding planning, what would they be?

This is really cool! I’ve used http://www.wordle.net before but it just makes word clouds and blobs, not anything like these pictures!

Now I’m wondering what I can make!

Oh that’s cute!

I think one of my words would have included “frustrated” and “annoyed”… mostly with other people trying to tell us what we should do for OUR wedding.

bah, humbug. lol..sorry to be a scrooge.

xoxo,
Fen

OMG! Cute! I saw this on Layla’s post as well but I like your buzz words! This doesn’t work on Macs without installing some program though :(

Of course I immediately went to play with it! Cute! I’m thinking of putting it on our OOT bags…
