About Mrs. Jaguar

Holy Nine Years, Batman!

October 2nd, 2010 @ 4:15 pm by Mrs. Jaguar

Mr. Jaguar and I started seeing each other in September 2002. If you do the math, we’ll be well into our ninth (!) year of dating when we’re married next June.

What better way to celebrate those nine years than a gigantic cake monstrosity complete with a sword for cake cutting!?

Confused yet? Check this beauty out.

Holy Nine Years, Batman! : wedding cake sydney Jaguar jaguar

{Source}

Amour Amour, an Australian wedding-inspiration website, originally shared the design accompanied by the following quote: “Delia and Randy celebrated with a spectacular 9-tier wedding cake, a tier for each of the 9 years the couple have been together.”

Better get baking, Mr. Jaguar—I’m getting hungry for cake already! :)

How long will you and your SO have been together by the time you get married? Would you consider a cake this big for your reception?

Hah, we’ve been together for 8 years, we’ll be at nearly 9 when we get married. A cake like that would be awesome, but I’m too frugal for that!

We had been together for 5 years when we got married. I’d allow that cake at my wedding if it were a gift or I had won it from the baker. heehee. Cake cutting with a sword is pretty cool though.

We dated for about 1 year and a half before we were married. I guess our little cake was appropriate :o)

If I had enough people to feed, I’d definitely go for a giant cake! So cool. But we’ll probably have more like 3 layers.

I wonder how many servings are in that cake?! You could feed a small army!

We will have been together just over 2 years when we get married, and we will have been engaged longer than we were dating!

We’ve known each other for about 13 years, and officially been a couple for about 5. Either way, I think it would be way too much cake! I will not deny how awesome it would be, though. :)

Our wedding date is our 5th year anniversary. We are only having 50 guests so a 5-tier cake will be waaay to much for the affair. But I do like cake and wouldn’t mind the leftovers. =)

Our wedding is next May. By that time, we’ll have been together for 6 years. No, we won’t have a cake with 6 tiers and that cake in the picture is CRAZZZZY!!!!! :)

That cake is enormous! We’ll be together for a little more than 5 years. I think a 5 tier cake it a little much.
