About Mrs. Brooch

So I’m Miss Brooch, right, and what’s a new wedding trend?

Brooch bouquets!

Did you think I was going to let you down and not live up to mah namesake? No way! This is something I must undertake; it’s only right. I have to be honest, though, and say I’m not totally crazy about the all-brooch bouquets. But I do like the idea of having a few brooches in the bouquets. Especially because I collect butterfly brooches and have been waiting my whole life to find a good use for them.

The butterfly brooches (and maybe some other random vintage brooches) will hopefully complement our garden-chic theme, and maybe this little idea provides some beautiful bouquet photos.

Those are gorgeous! I’m making my bouquet entirely out of brooches, but I love the real flowers mixed in too.

I totally just ordered mine off of etsy yesterday (I posted about it). It has dusty pink roses/peonies although I also love all brooch bouquets. I LOVE brooch bouquets though.

I love it. I had Mr. HW’s greatgrandmother’s brooch on my bouquet, so I’m all for it. Can’t wait to see your collection of butterfly brooches!

I absolutely love mixing the brooches in WITH the flowers. It gives it this spectacular vintage feel and also gives a little bling where you least expect it. What a fantabulous idea!!

I made my bouquet out of all brooches, it’s amazing! Sadly, it would have been way cheaper to just go with flowers but my bouquet is one of a kind. It too awhile to put it together but certainly a labor of love. I can’t wait for everyone to see it. And a bonus, I will build up my muscles cause that thing is heavy! lol

Loving the last bouquet pictured! I love this idea. And the fact that you already have brooches in the style of your wedding theme is amazing. I have liked the idea of adding a little sparkle with pins. I hadn’t considered brooches until now.

I made my bouquet entirely out of brooches. We’re having a ceremony with only parents and siblings (grandparents couldn’t travel) so my “something borrowed” are brooches from family and friends. My fiance helped me put them together, it’s amazing! If anyone wants any help, I’ll be more than glad to write a long tutorial!
