As you may have guessed from my last post as a Miss, the week (days, and hours too) before the wedding were a wee bit hectic. As I had mentioned, our apartment looked like a bomb stuffed full of crafty goodness went off and took no mercy on any corner.
The left corner of our apartment living room looked like this:

While the right corner looked like this:

Our kitchen wasn’t spared either:

And, you may ask, why did your apartment look like this, Miss Mrs. Locket? Well, because, as you may have guessed, I had this issue with taking on too much with too little time. In the week before the wedding I realized that we didn’t have any of these very important things:
- Escort cards
- Table #s
- Boutonnieres
- Ring bearer pillow
- Flower girl basket
- Card box
So, in the final days and hours before the wedding we worked long and hard on the projects below.
Our guests’ names printed and ready to be trimmed:

Table numbers in progress:

The boutonnieres:

A ring bearer pillow in the works:

Oh, and let’s not forget the centerpieces boxed and ready to go:

All in all, the last days were crazy and there were times I questioned whether or not we would get everything finished. Luckily with perseverance and strong will, we made it through without going crazy or killing one another (though I am pretty sure my mom was scared of me by the end of the week). To sum it up, we did the best with what was thrown at us and I’d like to think we came out on top.
Yes, we were thrown a dilemma or two, but as Mr. L goofily stated, “when life gives you a dilemma, you can always make dilemmanade!” (Yes, he came up with that corn all on his own!) So we made dilemmanade…and I can’t wait to share all the deets, but for now here’s a sneak peek from the wedding courtesy of one of our guests…
Our first kiss:

P.S. - Did I mention how excited I am to be back!? Oh hive, how I’ve missed you!!!
