We (mostly I) are planning our semi-destination wedding in my hometown of San Diego. We are excited to bring our families and friends together from across our lifespans to celebrate our future in a grand 400+ person culturally blended affair!

PWC or Start a New Job Chop?

I have had long hair for much too long. I’m the type that gets bored with my hair and likes to play. I’ve been dying to chop it off. At my new gig as a fancy-pants professor, I’ve been pulling my hair back into a bun every.single.day! How sad for all that pretty hair, huh? I was seriously starting to feel like an 18 year old with long hair, though. It was also weighing me down and pulling on my forehead.

With a recommendation from a colleague, I headed to Shag Salon in South Boston for this ‘do. I told her the following:

I’m turning 29 soon.
I’m a new university professor
I’m not attached to the length
Make it look good

My stylist, Kara, decided on this look. What do you think?

Shag always does a great job! They will even accept walk-ins, especially if you’re desperate and are on your lunch hour…..not that I’ve ever done that or anything

beautiful! i love how chic and clean it is! and you’ve totally just given me the last boost of motivation ive needed to schedule my PWC. i have had long hair since high school! almost 10 years! im going for the same cut
