In Living Color

October 11th, 2010 @ 11:06 am by Mrs. Starfish

In Living Color : wedding diy newport stationery thank you Cimg644 Everything about our wedding was navy and white. I’ve really wanted to include color somewhere, but wasn’t sure where. Then it hit me—the thank you gifts! I wrapped part of the bridesmaids’ gifts in fun colors. It’s not a huge detail, but I was excited to include the fun pops of color.I started with the thank you notes.

In Living Color : wedding diy newport stationery thank you Cimg64401 I’m obviously not joking when I said I want to infuse some color. I went a little crazy at Paper-Source and bought note cards and envelopes in lots of bright colors. I also got a few rolls of wrapping paper to make the envelope liners.

In Living Color : wedding diy newport stationery thank you Cimg645 I then embossed “thank you” on the cards and added some bright stickers. And this is just the beginning of the brightness. There are many more bright details to come.

Did you feel the urge to include lots of fun pops of color into any wedding details?

Beautiful. I heard there is a paper source coming to Brooklyn this November. I’m going to go broke :(

I love these! So bright and fun. Luckily we don’t have a Paper Source here, so I have to really think about what I want to order. Whereas, if I went in the store I would want to buy everything in sight.

Too cute! I am doing navy and white also, and I think infusing little pops of color is neat because you aren’t tied to one particular color. Great choice on the thank yous!!

A Little More Color | Weddingbee

[...] I mentioned in my last post wanting to add some pops of color to the bridesmaids’ gifts and I definitely did. I gave each girl their gifts the morning of the wedding. I had originally wanted to do hostess gifts for the pre-wedding events, but didn’t have the time, so I rolled them into one on the wedding day. [...]
