Mrs. D’orsay and I dropped by to check out Claire Pettibone’s newest collection. The line was inspired by one of Claire’s favorite childhood books called The Fairy Circus. A woodsy setting, tons of sparkle, and a barefoot bride embodies her latest creations. Backs were not an afterthought in this collection; the dresses looked just as amazing going as they did coming. To set the mood, the show kicked off with fairies serving drinks:

wow. I just love Claire Pettibone. Flowers are becoming so big I’m glad my dress has them but she pulls them off beautifully. They all look so delicate and flowy, and those backs are amazing!!
the one with the light pink rosettes and floor length veil is my fav! She really translated woodland fairytale to bridal well.
I really like the pale pink one (minus the crazy fluff in the back), but I have to say….none of these say “wedding dress” to me. Guess I’m just pretty traditional with my taste!
i think they all have way too much going on, but some of the back details are gorgeous.
YAY! I wore Claire Pettibone for my wedding! My dress was from her 2007 collection-her dresses seem to have gotten a little crazier over the past three years.
these are kinda too dramatic for my tastes, but they have a very ‘enchanted garden’ feel.
and i agree with #7 that the models need to EAT!
I’m not a huge CP fan, but I do love the fabric choices and backs on these gowns, if nothing else. So different in an etherial way.
Wow, very fairy and woodsy but beautiful. My favorites were number 4, 7, & 9.
I love #2 in photographs, but I wasn’t in love love with it in person. It looks great in this photo though!
*Sigh* Claire Pettibone dresses are just so whimsical and girly! I was crushing hard over them during my dress shopping…
