Last weekend, Burger and I traveled to Pittsburgh for an amazing fall-inspired wedding, and the details were too cute not to share with the hive!
I mean, seriously, how gorgeous is this cake? I am so curious as to how the baker achieved that look with the leaves! I love it.
And the penguins are too cute! The bride loves them, and the wedding reception was actually held at the Pittsburgh PPG Zoo and Aquarium - among actual penguins!
Pretty fall-themed colors and decor. Check out the centerpieces and table numbers. So elegant.
And the fabulous head table. The girls’ bouquets really gave it pops of color!

Another set of penguins handmade by the mother and sister of the bride! I think the little wreaths that they are sitting on are my favorite part!
The ladies wore a gorgeous olive green color and carried bright green and orange flowers. The men wore chocolate suits with olive vests and ties - they looked so sharp together.
I thought bridesmaid A’s headband was so stunning and very fall. It’s from Forever 21 (couldn’t find the exact one, but this is similar)!

Fall is my favorite time of year! I love all fall colors and this wedding brought in all of my favorites. It’s beautiful and the location is awesome.
Honestly, if we weren’t on the academic calendar, I would have loved to do an October wedding. It is possibly my favorite month of the year. And this wedding really made the most of it - congrats to your friends, they look beautiful.

What a cute wedding! I recently ordered some clear labels from Bachcroft (www.bachcroft.com) that go with anything. They printed our table settings onto labels for us and they look great. We saved so much money there that we can splurge on flower arrangements.

Wow, what a cute wedding! My colors were green and orange too but it was end of May so I had the green be a bit brighter and lighter! But orange pops like orange pops in any season! :]

The details are beautiful, I especially love the cake!
The leaves on the cake look to be edible frosting sheets that are cut to the shape of the leaf. Easy to do and it looks great!
