On a perfectly crisp and sunny October afternoon, Mr. Husky and I wed beneath his hand-built arbor on the edge of a cliff, with a beautiful mountain backdrop. It was an amazing day that lasted well into the night, and, if I’m honest, well into the next morning.
I’m so sorry for leaving for so long. I can come up with a million and one excuses, like how the three days before the wedding were spent chopping, boiling, shredding, poaching and other catering-related tasks. Or the fact that there was zero cell or internet service at the wedding site. Or how the work-week between the wedding and the honeymoon was one of the busiest I’ve had. Or how I was away on the honeymoon, and Mr. Husky and I swore up and down to one another that we wouldn’t be computer-zombies the entire week. But I know all of you don’t care about excuses. So I will leave you with assurances that I will soon be back to my regular posting schedule, and a tiny little teaser of our wonderful warm October afternoon:

I’ve missed you all, and I am so happy to be back!
Love,
Mrs. Husky
