Adele Wechsler’s Spring 2011 collection was fresh and feminine. And I know a lot of you were less-than-thrilled by lots of the models you’ve seen on the runway this far. Adele featured a range of models with different body types, truly proving that there is something for everyone from her collection.
And here’s my pick for favorite! This dress is so romantic:

Good to know that just because I am a size 2, I am not a real bride. I’m all for supporting designers who use models in a range of sizes, but please don’t resort to attacking skinny women in the process of praising this. I really get sick of reading stuff on the bee and other websites where models are not “real” women just because they are skinny.
@Skinny Bride: You make an excellent point and I’m changing the post to reflect your thoughts. The average woman in this country is a size 14, but that doesn’t make thin girls any less of “real brides”! Thank you for your insight.
@Skinny Bride: I think you’re being a little over-sensitive! It was a poor choice of words, but given the statistical spread of women’s sizes today vs. what is designed and marketed for, I think you’re on shaky ground arguing that skinny brides are unfairly called out for not being the norm. Skinny isn’t the norm! I’d love it if more designers acknowledged that and had models like above in their shows!
Love the pocket dress! And I also love that there are a variety of sizes shown modeling- such a refreshing dose of reality

I seem to be more negative than positive on most of the styles I’ve seen, but this collection seems too matronly for most brides of ‘average age’. BM dresses are nice, but the rest of them? Not really a fan.
Lover her styles! And it’s nice to see some models who don’t look deathly thin.
I like how the first model isn’t super skinny- she’s like a real girl
@smyley I would actually disagree. These are great dresses for those who are looking for a feminine dress that isn’t as flashy or formal as most of the dresses out there are. I felt extremely fortunate to find a dress that I liked but wasn’t overly formal or not my style (I’m in my late 20’s btw). These designs will help brides looking for a more casual dress.
I love number 8 - the eyelet with the blue ribbon - it’s so cute!!
Finally some healthy looking models - but unfortunately, I don’t really love any of the dresses 
The first photo makes me think of my dress in so many ways… the overlay, the flowers (in the color they are), the side pull… wow. If my dress came in a v-neckline with straps… I totally would have tried that on, and I think it might have worked just as well.
That one has to be my favorite!
I love the black and pink bridesmaid dress and matching mini-version!
