Yeah, OK—so I ripped off a famous movie quote, but I was stuck for a title. *grin*

I am having a really hard time coming up with awesome gifts for my girls. Traditionally you usually give jewelry to wear at the wedding, so I thought about getting them this necklace:

But Sister-In-Law Meerkat is probably going to be wearing her dress in the halter style, so I scratched that.

Then, during one of my many random searches on Etsy, I stumbled upon these amazing leather travel makeup cases at Waterstone and thought how much my girls would love to have these since they both travel so much:

I had one made with a pink lining for Sister-In-Law Meerkat and one with a yellow lining for bridesmaid K.

But now I am stuck on what else to give them. I would like to add a couple items into the case but I have no idea what! I thought about getting them each a personalized compact but is this something they would really use?

I am completely lost on what to get them that would be useful and fun for them to have. If you were a bridesmaid, what would you like to receive?

I would totally use a compact! I have an iphone and i’m always turning the camera on backwards to check out my makeup before i go somewhere bc i never seem to be where there are convenient mirrors. lol

love the travel bags! i think the ecard would be the most versatile. is it like amazon where you can at least print the card at home on a color printer? i did that using one of their pumpkin designs and it turned out pretty cute–especially if you were to print it on good paper. if they don’t have that option, maybe a sephora gift card?

I vote for the compact. It is practical and will be used. Besides the usefulness of a compact, the one you’ve chosen can be personalized,which is a bonus! Whenever they use it they will think of you.

Compact is always useful!! You could always do a braclet too — that goes with any style dress!

I would totally use everything you listed. I am always complaining about how I never have a mirror in my purse so I would totally use the compact, and the tavel bag, and the brushes and the gift card! I think you’ve got a great gift going on there

Thank you! I love hearing that all of the stuff would go to use, especially the personalized compact.

@Mrs. Pug & @beth1125 & @Kate: No luck with Sehpora because the closest one to them is 1.5 hours away. I know they both use Clinique products but I don’t know if the e-card has a cool thing you can print like Amazon. I am going to check it out.

@SuperShopper: hehe you must be psychic because I was just looking at bracelets yesterday for them.

Macys would be an amazing gift card! I would love to get that as a BM. Not a big compact person, since you could buy one for pretty cheap at the grocery store. I am also a fan of jewelry
