I've been crafty for as long as I can remember, and will DIY something twice over before I have someone do it for me. Geeking Out a Little More

October 21st, 2010 @ 12:22 pm by Mrs. Giraffe

OK, OK, OK, I get it. I blogged about Mario cakes and cupcakes already, and I posted a photo of a cake because it had a giant Goomba on top…the truth is, I might be a little bit of a nerd. There. I said it. Secret’s out.

And now that the truth is out, I figured I could geek out just a teeny bit more. I have a good reason for it, I promise.

Ever play Little Big Planet? If you have, you know that it’s a super cute and super fun game. Mr. Giraffe and I have had quite a few Little Big Planet nights. It definitely makes for a good two-player game; it’s really enjoyable.

And, as I previously mentioned that I’m a Marvel girl, I’m even more pumped about Little Big Planet now that it’s added Marvel costume packs! Woohoo! I’m so excited!

So, you’re wondering what this all has to do with wedding stuff, right? Weeeeelllllllllll, let me tell you!

The little Sackboys in Little Big Planet? Well, someone had the amazing idea to create a cake topper looking like little Sackboys (and girls)! Ahhhhhhh, I love it!

And you will love it, too! Ready? Are you sure? Because this very well may be too cute to handle!

And my personal favorite, due to their wedding finery:

Ahhhhhh! I love it, love it, love it!

Anybody else totally geeking out for the big day?

Man, thanks for reminding me about the game I want, but doesn’t come for Wii. *Tear.

Just kidding. Wave the Nerd Flag high and have an awesome cake topper.

Wow, these are pretty interesting. Not my taste, but still, I can see where the adorable comes from. It’s going to totally fit you both, and it doesn’t get any better than that!

So… those last ones that you posted, the ones that you said were your favorite, those are the mine! I did the alchelmy feature on etsy and had them made. I could give you the girl’s info if you want. :) We got lost of comments on them. We love them!!!!

@HunnyBear: Where did he get a figurine?! I need to know! Ask him for me, please?
@Affin: Greatest. Wedding. Of. All. Time. Thank you so much for the link! It kind of made my night (and by night I mean year).
@Miss Meerkat: I know, right? There’s a Rogue, but only if there was a Remy, too ;-).
@MRSCLARK: Shut up, shut up, shut up! I cannot believe those are yours! They are amazing and so well done! They’re actually the first LBP toppers I saw and I just about died. They’re perfect!

We’ve talked about LBP cake toppers too! Playing is one of our favorite things to do together. I’d love to incorporate the game into our wedding more but I know our families would think we were crazy!
