So, I was going to kick things off with a “How-Mr. Panther-and-I-Met” story, but as I was writing it, I realized it was really long and a little bit boring. I’ll still get to it eventually—these things are important, after all—but I thought it would be cooler to start with something a little more fun. How about our color palette? Woooooo!

Isn’t it fun? I must admit, I sort of copied it from this wedding on Once Wed. (More pictures here) Our wedding will be more formal and night-timey, but you get the idea.
I started off with a blue, lime green and yellow color palette, but it evolved into this after I picked out my dress. More on that later!
How did you pick your color palette? Were you inspired by other weddings, or did you come up with it from a different kind of inspiration?

Uh, I’m in love. It’s probably too late for me to change our color scheme, huh?

I’m feeling the same way. I am using a eggplant, lavender, and some greens…pretty, but not as exciting and interesting as these colors. My FH is gonna get blindsided with more color choices when he gets here
I LOVE your color scheme. Mine is similar minus the yellow so I am so excited to follow along and see all the fun stuff that you come up with. Your inspirational pictures are so much fun!

@fromcharleston: Isn’t that cake awesome?! Funny story — one of my bridesmaids (who grew up in Toronto) saw that picture and was saying how much she loved the cake, and I told her that the shop is in Toronto, and she went to the site and found out that she knows one of the women who runs it! Small world, huh?

I love the colors!!! Mine are yellow and grey, with splashes of fuchsia here and there.

Oh, I love it! I’m totally in that spectrum too - my dress is going to have very thin colored piping along some of the seams, and I’m trying to decide now between evergreen, teal, aqua, or peacock blue (similar to the sapphire you have here).
@mightywombat: What a tough choice! I vote teal! It’s like, a combo of evergreen and peacock, and a more dramatic version of aqua.
Panther! I love love love your colors! That inspiration board is totally fab! Oh and that cake is to die for!

@Miss Panther: Teal is what I’m leaning toward too. Right now (although naturally this could change at any time :P) it’s between teal and peacock. Basically, some kind of vibrant, almost iridescent blue/blue-green. It will also depend on the kind of fabric.
