I’m so sorry to leave you hanging on even longer because I know you’ve suffered through Parts 1, 2, and 3, of the Girl Who Cried Dress and Voted Your Favorite, but the thing is, I was just about to make my decision (I still had not made my choice before the vote), when I got an email that would make the heart of any bride skip a beat…
It was from TLC’s show Say Yes to the Dress!!!!

OMG
OMG
OMG
Let me give you the background first:
I filled out the application on Kleinfeld’s website about a week before my last round of wedding gown shopping, and forgot all about it. I remember doing the application while I was at work (shh!), getting distracted, and almost deleting it and forgetting about the whole thing. I had done more than half of it, though so I decided to keep it—what the hell, right? I finished the application and figured they will probably contact me (if they contacted me at all) when I’d already bought my dress and it would be too late…
Think again.
A week after I submitted the application, I begin corresponding with TLC via email, “Yes, I’m available next week. Yes, I will come to the show,” and minutes later, my phone rang. TLC webt over my application in what they called an interview, although it really just felt like an honest-to-goodness chat with a woman named Lisa, and then they said a confirmation email was the last step.
I told a few people, namely my maid of honor, mom and Mr. B, but I didn’t want to get my hopes up.
About 10AM the next day, I got the email, and I was in…
I have no idea when the show will air or whether or not they will even air a show of me; what I do know that is that I have an appointment at Kleinfeld this week and TLC will interview and film me, and the entire process.
I’m totally freaking…not only because this is the greatest show ever (I had honestly watched Sunday’s marathon of 10 episodes the weekend before getting the call), but because it’s d-day (decision time).
So as much as I hate to leave you ladies hanging another day, I just had to take up this opportunity to hit one last and final stop in the search for a wedding dress.
Your votes were not in vain, though, as you know there is no obligation to buying a dress at Kleinfeld (although - what girl can resist?) and I’m taking pictures of yours and my favorite gowns - 5, 9, & 11 - and going in with my fingers crossed.
Randy, it’s time for this bride to put her big girl panties on and own up! We can’t have a wedding without a wedding dress, eh? I have the fullest confidence the professionals will set me straight!
Fingers crossed I finally Say Yes to a Dress!
Yay!
