It came! It came! Our photo guestbook arrived in the mail today!! I am so happy with how it came out. I was trying to go for a Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark -type feel and I think I accomplished it.

We alternated back and forth between two different questions. The first one was ’When did you first know that Carla and Chris were in love?’:
The second question was ’What is your favorite memory of Carla and Chris?’:
And the thing I just LOVE about this book is the quality. The heavy paper and the lay flat binding:
This 26 page book cost us $41.94 delivered and was worth every penny! I now have not only a great book of our engagement photos but also a fun guestbook.
Would you ever consider making a book like this?

We made an Adorama photobook with our honeymoon photos. They made it with some random person’s engagement album cover on it ;-). But, luckily, they have excellent customer service, and remade the book right away! I’m not the biggest fan of the SUPER glossy covers - they remind me of children’s picture books, but the price was right, and the pages themselves are pretty good quality (if not flushmount. But I wasn’t willing to spend $500 for a honeymoon album!)

I made a photo guestbook through Shutterfly and I absolutely love it! Ours is made with our engagement pictures and I left tons of white space for guests to sign “yearbook style.” I’m excited because it’s a book that I know we will keep and look at for years to come.
I love the background on the pages! Your book turned out amazing. I’m also planning on doing a guestbook like this but just leaving whitespace for people to write on.

@missDNA: I thought about doing just the white pages too but knowing our family they would need a starting point or we would get a bunch of signatures.

Absolutely! the photographer wants over $600 for a wedding album. I can do it for myself for about $100! I’m a graphic designer by trade though, so that does help.
No way am I paying $600 for an album!
