After news of Anthropologie launching its own bridal line \last year, for some reason I keep on searching to see if anything has come out yet! I know I am married. I know that they said it was going to be Spring 2011. But for some reason I have searched “Anthropologie wedding dresses” twice this month. Am I anxious or something?

I guess I am just excited to see what they come up with. I have a feeling (I am hoping) that they will be a little unexpected and uber romantic. Anthropologie has a distinctive feminine, vintage feel, and at times a downtown/global vibe (it is the sister brand to Urban Outfitters—one of my other favorites). As a frugal-ista I love it when store brands come up with their own bridal lines because they are often more affordable than traditional dresses (think J.Crew, Nicole Miller). So, for this sale rack searcher, I am eagerly awaiting their launch! Until they get their buns in gear, I have put together a few dresses as eye candy. Will something like these dresses be part of Anthro’s line?

the day the anthro line was announced, i got at least 5 texts from my girl friends that said: anthro wedding spring 2011…will you be pushing your wedding date back?

I am dying to see the anthro bridal line. Whenever I have extra cash I look around at anthro to see what I can spend it on. I imagine their bridal line will be amazing, and have also been googling with no luck.

With regard to other brands, there’s a Lily Pulitzer dress that is lace with cap sleeves that makes me wish I was having a picnic wedding, or maybe a wedding on a boat. Alas, I am not.

I have been waiting to see what Vera Wang’s line for David’s Bridal will look like. I am beyond obsessed with the Dierdre dress but could never drop that much cash on a dress.

I too, am eagerly awaiting the unveiling of their bridal collection. My glee at the announcement faded when I realized it’d be released too late for my June 2011 wedding.

I think someone needs to befriend an Anthropologie gal in-the-know so we can get details!

So I have this sick obsession with Anthro and the second I got engaged emailed the company! Now this was in September but they said they’d have the online store up Feb 2011! The brick stores won’t be up till next Fall…yikes! The cities are TBD!
