I can usually be found with my nose in a book, my feet (or at least my toes) on the ground, my head in the clouds, and my arm around the prettiest girl you ever saw- aka Fiancee Stripes. Together we’re planning a FUN vintage/modern French carnival wedding extravaganza and rockin’ dance party on a dime. (Say that three times fast!) Good coffee, long lists, Uniball pens, and my iPhone keep me sane, and making art, making trouble, and making out keep me happy! I love urban adventures, bike rides that end with afternoon drinks, breakfast for dinner, beautiful light, photography, travel, my furry family, and of course, my beautiful fiancee! I’m super excited to be here and can’t wait to share all our adventures as we craft a joyful, budget-friendly, design-savvy and all-around AWESOME wedding!
About Ms. Stripes

Back when we were planning I would often wax poetic about everything else I could do once the wedding was over and I had all this glorious free time. So it’s pretty funny that I’m still seeing wedding inspiration everywhere! Wouldn’t this dress be awfully sweet for a little winter wedding?

I saw it at Neiman’s the other day, and it made me wish I had an extra $800 bones lying around so I could snap it up and hold onto it for our eventual legal ceremony. I would love to pair it with some sweater tights/chunky heels, and then cuddle up in front of a fireplace somewhere chilly with a glass of wine and my lovely wife. I wouldn’t mind owning it in black or peony either. For the after party, of course.

My heartfelt apologies for the lack of posting lately… I’ve been busy daydreaming up all sorts of awesome, meaningful, pretty, and/or crafty things to write about.

Because let’s face it, I’m sick of our wedding. Or more specifically I’m sick of writing about our wedding. And I’m not exactly tickled by the thought of writing a newlywed blog either. Snooze.

Anyone else have this problem? Are you done with the real wedding and planning an imaginary one now?

Might I suggest this dress from Anthro? It has a similar lace feel, but it’s significantly cheaper. :)

I think my fiance is worried about what I will do once the wedding planning is done. It has consummed my time and become my favorite “hobby” right now. He’s worried that I’ll be deadly bored afterwards. Maybe I’ll just become a wedding planner! lol

I will probably blog about the best ways to organize my house (this will take about 15 years I am sure)…. And how to make the little ones excel in school, little fun projects for them etc. Okay yes I am “that” mom who loves to bake and sometimes fails miserably at it lol!

I’m planning my imaginary wedding too! One where there’s time to do all the little things I didn’t get.
