In between the karaoke, we danced!
We did our father/daughter, mother/son dance simultaneously, to Rascal Flatt’s “My Wish.” I think we had one other slow song that evening…the rest of the night, it was ON! Our DJs were fantastic, playing a solid mix of top 40s + old school classics.
My nephew may have had his PJs on, but everyone else was ready to dance!
And so we did.
There was even a cartwheel!

By the end of the evening, our flip-flop basket was empty, heels were kicked off, carefully hairsprayed styles had fallen down, bobby pins were flung to the ground, my bustle had broken, windows were opened to let in the sea breeze, fists were pumping, arms were raised, and everywhere I looked I saw smiles and love.
I love how energized your dance floor looked. It just seemed like an absolute ball!
That last paragraph sounds like exactly what I want our wedding to be. 
So fun! I’m still loving that you did karaoke, so awesome!
