Side Ponies

November 4th, 2010 @ 1:30 pm by Mrs. Brooch

Now that I’ve finally chosen a wedding gown and decided on a veil, it’s time to start thinking about my hair. I always imagined a loose side pony like the one in this picture. Just gorgeous, if you ask me.

Can my hair please look this good on our wedding day?

I wanted the side pony long before figuring out the dress and veil, so now that I know what those things will look like, I may have to revisit this vision and think again.

Where are some good places to look for wedding day hairstyles?

How are you wearing your hair?

I love side ponies. I am thinking of wearing my hair like that for my engagement pictures. For the wedding I will be doing a low up-do. Your inspiration pics are great!

Yay for the side pony!!

I had my hair trial last week - soft waves, pulled back with loose ringlets at the nape of my neck - and I didn’t like the way it came out at all. I started to let out the ringlets and pulled them over to the side, and I LOVED it. Side pony it is!!

I want to wear my veil really low, and am now looking for pics of side ponies with low veil… not easy to find!

I would love to do a side pony or my hair down, but alas, I don’t have enough hair to pull off the volume of it.

I’ll probably end up doing a very loose and romantic updo.

I totally wanted that look too, and when I had my hair curled I tried to do it but it just wasn’t working so we left it down! I hope it works out for you! So pretty!

Hey that’s me! Haha thanks for loving the hair so much! That was definitely one of my favorite parts of my look. It’s all about clip on extensions too by the way! Congrats!

I think how you wear your hair depends on the neckline of your dress, the veil of your choice, shape of your face and length of your neck. As a result of these factors, some women look better with their hair up or down.
